This is the dashboard of Usine. It enables the starting of the audio engine or recording, switching between the different display modes, and shows different information about the state of the processor, or the available memory.
Indicates the processor (CPU) load. If this value is greater than the indicated value in the CPU/SETUP PROTECT, the audio engine is automatically turned off a few seconds. Generally, above 90%, Usine could become unstable.
Quantity of memory used, expressed in percentage. It is not advised to go higher than 90%.
Enables the switching into the sequencer mode, [Ctr+F2].
Enables you to toggle between grid, and Interface builder mode, [Ctrl+F1].
Those indicators lights up when Usine receives or sends MIDI information or OSC data’s.
Starts or stops the audio engine, [SPACE BAR] in the case of an incorrect setup of the ASIO driver, this button lights up red. (only in the stand alone version)
Enables simultaneous recording of the audio inputs, audio outputs and tracks outputs in WAVE files. This function is also called Direct to Disk.
Sends a ALL NOTES OFF Midi event to all the samplers, VSTi’s and midi outputs.
Only if you have motorized MIDI controllers connected. Force Usine to send Midi messages to the connected remote devices. This button can be used to force MIDI remote faders & knobs positions and to be sure that they correspond to the real position in Usine.
Lights when a Mute switch is activated on a track.
Lights when a Solo switch is activated on a track.
Opens the file and modules Browser.
