Bassliner
Bass line generator.
This patch helps you to create personal bass lines very easily. Notes can be adjusted by a Step Midi and rhythm patterns by a Switches (sequenced) according to a scale.
The Sampler module included in the patch is very basic and can easily be changed for your favorite VST instrument.
It’s also recommended to set the VST-i’s polyphony to 1.
speed
Length of the bass line: an entire cycle or a bar.
beat division
Beat sub-division for each step:
- 4 for 16th
- 3 for triplet
- 2 for 8th
- 1 for beat
swing
Swing amount.
- 0% for straight eight
- 100% for triplet
min
Minimum range of the step sequencer (lowest note).
max
Maximum range of the step sequencer (highest note).
root
Harmonic root of the bass line.
scale
Harmonic scale of the bass line.
pitch
Overall pitch.
panic
Sends an all note off midi message to the output.
hold
When this switch is OFF, the length of each note is equal to the beat division duration. Otherwise, when it is ON, step sustain is kept until the next step is triggered.
add octave bass
Add a bass line an octave higher and shifted by half duration to create more complex patterns.
